The results of the first SEED call for proposals of the METABUILDING project were recently released.
In total, 159 SMEs responded to this first call, including 30 from Portugal.
Six Portuguese SMEs were awarded a voucher and will implement their projects until the end of May 2021: PHG – PARADELLA’S HOUSES, OUR WATCH LEADS – OWL, OUZO ENGENHARIA, LIMSENCONSULTING, LIMPA CANAL E ANÍBAL OLIVEIRA CRISTINA, Lda. Each voucher awarded to these companies has a value of up to 5000 euros and will be used to boost innovation in SMEs in the sector.
In addition, three other national SMEs, although not benefiting from financial support, will receive specialised support from the project partners. These companies are SULTANATO, HEABOO and STRA.
The projects were evaluated according to their innovative nature, their impact on the construction sector and their regional relevance, whose innovation processes have application in the construction sector and link with the areas of additive manufacturing, circular economy, nature-based and digital solutions.
This call, launched in December 2020, aimed to provide support to 30 SMEs from the six project target countries: Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, Austria and Hungary.
