“Construction Technologies in response to new challenges” was the theme that dominated the 2nd PTPC Forum – Portuguese Technological Platform for Construction, held on 21 February 2013 at the LNEC Congress Centre.
The various speakers at the event analysed the technological demands that upstream industries and external markets place on Construction, in an attempt to identify differentiation factors that increase the sector’s competitiveness and allow it to expand into more technologically developed markets with lower business risks.
During the meeting the objective of creating mechanisms for “block exports” of the Portuguese industry was evident, sustained by the rationalisation of processes, the incorporation of new technologies and a collaborative dynamic, one of the main focuses of the Platform’s action.
