The International BIM Conference focused on the theme “Challenges to overcome”, had the presentation and discussion of the latest information and tools for implementing BIM (Building Information Modeling) worldwide, and identify the solutions that allow Portugal and other countries, to actively implement BIM.
The importance that BIM has been gaining, throughout the project cycle, is highlighted by the international investment that has been applied by Real Estate, Project Managers, Contractors, Licensing Entities, among others.
The use of BIM is now mandatory in some countries and it is anticipated that such a requirement will become a general standard in the near future.
