On 6 November the PTPC held another internal meeting between partners and members of working groups dedicated, in the first part, to the presentation of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Cluster project.

The event, which had more than 70 participants, was attended by top figures from the various partners in the construction sector, with emphasis on the Chairman of InCI – Fernando Silva, Chairman of CPCI – Reis Campos, Chairman of LNEC – Carlos Pina, Board of Directors of Mota-Engil – Mário Barros, Board of the Order of Architects – Rafael Pereira and Chairman of APPC – Vitor Carneiro. The presence of the President of the Order of Engineers – Matias Ramos, was also noted, through the reading of a message that, as well as the statements of support from those present, contributed a lot to the affirmation and consolidation of the purposes of the PTPC.
In a second panel, which had the presence of the Portuguese Innovation Society – Augusto Medina and Miguel Taborda, from LNEC – Álvaro Vale e Azevedo, from IST – Fernando Branco, from the University of Minho – António Correia, from FEUP – Prof. Hipólito Sousa, and from IST – Fernando Branco, and also the representative of the ELEVO/EDIFER Group – Paulo Fonseca. Based on the experience of the participants, the approach methodologies and opportunities under “Horizon 2020” were reported, highlighting the debate that followed among all present.
