TechOnBUILT – Gender Equality in the Construction Sector with Rita Moura

The AEC Sector, which traditionally employs more men, is becoming more equitable, with more and more women joining companies. However, this trend is more visible in positions usually performed in an office environment.

To give us their vision on the subject, we invited for this Podcast three women working in the Sector, each with different paths and experiences: Rita Moura, President of BUILT CoLAB and engineer at Teixeira Duarte, Claúdia Antunes, architect, Consultant at StratBIM® and Regional Lead in Portugal of Women in BIM, and Cláudia Fernandes, BIM Architect of the Technical Department of Casais Group.

Together, they talk in this TechOnBUILT about the presence and role of women in the world of Construction, what is their perception regarding the evolution of this theme in the recent years and what are the main positive and negative points. Thus, they share their experiences, contributing to the discussion of a topic that is constantly present in the Sector.
